Identity è il progetto in cui moda e arte si incrociano per ridefinire l’identità attraverso l’ibridazione di linguaggi diversi nei progetti degli studenti delle 11 sedi del Gruppo IED, seguita dalla mentorship di Michel Comte, fotografo e artista contemporaneo. L’evento si è svolto nell’Ex Teatro dell’Oriuolo, seguendo un percorso tra capi concettuali e sculture contemporanee.
Identity is a project where fashion and art intersect to redefine the concept of identity through the hybridisation of different visual and cultural languages. The project brings together works by students from the 11 campuses of the IED Group, developed under the mentorship of photographer and contemporary artist Michel Comte. The event took place at the former Teatro dell’Oriuolo, unfolding along a curated path of conceptual garments and contemporary sculptures.
Il concept visivo del progetto porta in scena le peculiarità e l’identità della location, prendendo forza dal brutalismo e dagli “errori” dello spazio lasciato incompleto ma proprio per questo unico nel suo genere e nel suo fascino decadente. Per meglio esaltare alcuni elementi materici della location è stato sviluppato un visual fotografico multisoggetto che esalta i particolari d’epoca e l’autenticità del luogo.
The project’s visual concept draws directly from the character and identity of the venue, embracing its brutalist qualities and the “imperfections” of an unfinished space—elements that make it distinctive and contribute to its raw, decaying charm. To further highlight the material and architectural features of the location, a multi-subject photographic visual was developed, focusing on period details and enhancing the site’s authenticity and historical depth.
